The Sixth Circuit Rules on Arbitration and Employer’s Requirement to Explain Terms

In Gavette v. United Wholesale Mortgage, LLC, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled that an arbitration provision in an employment contract is binding and enforceable, even if the employer did not explain the provision or recommend the employee seek legal advice.
