David Blanchard received his B.A. in political science in 1996 and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2003. Before law, Blanchard worked as a broadcast journalist, covering local politics and environmental issues in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County. Blanchard has been practicing in Ann Arbor since 2004 after serving as judicial clerk for the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman in the District of New Jersey. David Blanchard primarily practices in the areas of civil rights, commercial and employment litigation, and criminal defense.
