On July 8, 2025, the Supreme Court of the United States granted the Trump administration’s request to stay a lower-court judge’s order blocking President Donald Trump’s plan to reduce and restructure the federal workforce, including proposed massive cuts to the U.S. Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and other federal agencies regulating employers.
