Workplace Fairness seeks students for a Fall 2015 Sales Internship. Interns will work closely with the Executive Director, and will be integrally involved in the research, development and implementation of a strategic sales plan including projected sales targets. Accordingly, students will maintain a prospect database, conduct analyses of best practices in implementation of a sales plan, conduct sales pitches to potential clients, analyze monthly sales outcomes, and prepare performance reports for upper management.
Interns must have excellent research, writing, analysis, verbal communication, and sales skills. We are also interested in working with students who are self-motivated, focused, computer-savvy, and strongly interested in protecting the rights of workers.
Interns may work full or part-time. While this internship is unpaid, students can arrange to receive course credit. Our organization is headquartered in Washington, DC, however, interns can work remotely from any location, and will be supervised by the Executive Director. Students whose job options are geographically limited or who prefer to telecommute may find the flexibility of this type of internship ideal.
