Lawmakers Propose New Workplace Drug Testing Rules

Iowa lawmakers have asked for a rule allowing saliva and hair samples to be used for workplace drug testing.

Lawmakers said their supporters include businesses and labor unions. The groups said the tests are less

intrusive than urine or blood testing.
